W3C Accepts DIAT Position Paper From WCG
Raleigh, NC - Sept 24, 2002 - The W3C Device Independence Working Group accepted Web Commerce Group's
position paper for their upcoming Device Independent Authoring Techniques (DIAT) workshop. The position
paper, entitled "Content Adaptation with the Add-on Technique", presents an alternative adaptation technique
for delivering content and application to multiple devices, which takes advantage of device capabilities for
a better user experience while keeping maintenance cost low and reuse of authored contents high.
The workshop runs from Sept 25 to Sept 26 at SAP University in Germany. More information on the W3C Device Independence WG can be found at
